Stuff & Nonsense was 'reborn' in June of 2006, when Jana Thomas and Dean Edwards purchased the landmark Salt Spring Island business which has been delighting local islanders and tourists alike for more than two decades with its unique and nostalgic offerings.

We love to travel and love even more the rush felt when we stumble unexpectedly upon a unique 'find'.

Stuff & Nonsense has provided the perfect venue to marry this love with our desire to support the diverse talent and entrepreneurial aspirations of the many artisans responsible for this incredible rush. So far we have traveled to India, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Mexico, Nepal and Indonesia, sometimes purchasing just a little, but more often than not, purchasing a lot. This year we're happy to announce that we will be wholesaling two of our most favourite Thailand finds, so that you might get a taste of our 'unique find rush', when you see a Stuff & Nonsense one-of-a-kind handbag or hand sewn monkey pop up in a store near you.
